This covers criminal activity, legal breaches, health and safety hazards, or miscarriages of justice within the organization.Reporting ProceduresIndividuals should typically contact their direct supervisor first. If this is not appropriate, reports can be directed to the Compliance Officer or the Board via compliance@verozi.org. Please include specific details such as dates, locations, and involved parties to assist in a thorough review.Whistleblower SafeguardsReporting a concern is a courageous act. If you act in good faith, you will be protected from any form of retaliation, including harassment or professional disadvantage. We are dedicated to supporting those who help us maintain our ethical standards.Investigation ProcessEvery report is acknowledged in writing within five business days. Following an initial review, we determine the necessary investigative steps. You will be informed of the designated officer and kept updated on the inquiry's status. All proceedings are handled with strict confidentiality.Legal FrameworkOur guidelines are consistent with the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998, which protects employees from unfair treatment following a disclosure. We ensure that:• Disclosures serve the collective public interest.• Reporters have a sincere belief in the accuracy of the information provided.• Every individual is shielded from disciplinary actions resulting from their report.This policy provides a direct framework for internal resolution. If internal outcomes are deemed insufficient, you may seek further counsel from regulatory authorities.
