OUR FOUNDATIONS
Verozi Foundation was established with a singular purpose: to alleviate the suffering of those caught up in the crosshairs of conflict, natural disaster, and poverty. Our journey began in Middlesbrough, where a group of dedicated individuals recognized the urgent need for a transparent, accountable, and compassionate response to suffering.
We operate in some of the world's most challenging environments, from the conflict zones of Gaza and Ukraine to the drought-stricken regions of Yemen and Sudan. We believe that every life deserves dignity, and every community deserves a future built on clean water and sustainable development. Our work is defined by transparency, equality, and a relentless commitment to the people we serve.
The Visionary Behind Verozi Foundation
Mr. Shaheen Anjum Mehdi is The founder of Verozi foundation . He was born in a small village called Naloi in Azad Kashmir (Pakistan). His parents immigrated to United Kingdom when he was eleven (11) years old and received his upbringing and education in United Kingdom. He is a self-made man and is owner and CEO of Limura Global Limited DMCC a company which trades in precious metals, gemstones and financial markets. He knows the suffering of men and seeks to ease their lot.
Shaheen is a spiritual person. The word “spiritual” does not necessarily mean “religious”. The general view is that if one prays five times a day or goes to the Mosque regularly one is spiritual regardless of how corrupt and selfish that person maybe. This is far from the truth. All activity which expands the consciousness of a human being and improves the character of a person is called spiritual. It is our actions towards our fellow human beings and right relations that are at the heart of spiritual teachings.
Shaheen believes that all souls are from God and therefore humanity is one and is opposed to division and hate and believes in synthesis and brotherhood of man. He is opposed to division, separation, discrimination and inequality and believes all people everywhere regardless of religion, race or colour should eat and live freely as members of the human family. He believes compassion is the key to all future progress for man and charity is a divine principle and the first human priority is the saving of the millions now starving to death in the third world. There is nothing more urgent and more important in the world today.

OUR CORE VALUES
At the heart of our mission are our unique values-the distinguishing attributes that will set us apart from other organizations and will characterize how we conduct ourselves in our drive for tangible and lasting results:
Compassion
Compassion lies at the heart of everything Verozi Foundation does. We’re dedicated to easing the suffering of all people, and we appreciate the perspectives of others when they are different from our own. We provide comfort and resources freely and unconditionally to those who need it, no matter who they are or where they are from.
Accountability & transparency
We believe in being open and honest in all that we do, sharing both the challenges we face and our successes. Transparent communication, regular feedback and the ability to admit when we could have done better are essential features of a trusting relationship and a reliable charity. Our stakeholders need to be confident that they are informed about how we use our resources and accomplish our goals.
Equality
We are against all kind of discrimination based on religion, race or colour. The principle of non-discrimination and equality of opportunity apply to all staff, volunteers and beneficiaries.
Equity
We believe that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are entitled to the respect, dignity, equality, safety, and security accorded to other members of society and that all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities are defined by their own strengths, abilities, and inherent value — not by their disability.
Integrity & honesty
Integrity and honesty are at the heart of our organization. We expect our people to maintain high ethical standards in everything they do both in their work for the organization and in their personal lives.
Diversity
We believe that society in general and Verozi Foundation in particular benefit from the contributions of people with diverse personal characteristics (including but not limited to race, ethnicity, religion, age, geographic location, sexual orientation, gender).
