NATURAL DISASTER RESPONSE
Every year, natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, floods and hurricanes devastate communities, leaving people homeless, hungry and without basic services. In just a few seconds, an earthquake can kill thousands, destroy homes and bury entire neighbourhoods under tons of rubble.
We support people affected by natural disasters, especially those who have lost their homes, crops or businesses. We provide essential medicines, clean water and food supplies, cooking sets, bedding and clothing. We also send tools and materials to help families rebuild shelter, and we offer grants or one‑off payments to support people in any part of the world who are facing an emergency.
During severe droughts, families can lose their crops, livestock and access to safe drinking water. Verozi Foundation works to bring clean water to affected communities through emergency water trucking, water purification and the repair of wells and boreholes. We support farmers with drought‑resistant seeds, basic tools and training so they can restore their livelihoods. By standing with communities before, during and after drought, we help protect children from hunger, disease and the long‑term impact of water scarcity.
Floods can wash away homes, schools and livelihoods in a matter of hours. When disaster strikes, Verozi Foundation moves quickly to reach affected communities with clean water, emergency food, temporary shelter and medical support. We work with local partners to restore safe water sources, repair vital infrastructure and help families rebuild their lives with dignity.
